Enion Pelta-Tiller  Fiddle, Violin, Viola and Cello

EnionEnion has been playing music for over 30 years, and studied at the San Francisco Conservatory and the prestigious Peabody Institute in Baltimore, MD. Her explorations into fiddle music were mentored by Darol Anger, David Balakrishnan, and reknown Romanian Gypsy Violinist Lache Cercel. She teaches classical violin, and bluegrass, celtic, gypsy, jazz, old-time, and other fiddle styles to students ranging from children of 4 to adult professional musicians, and has been an instructor at Mark O'Connor's celebrated fiddle camps. A fouding member of the band Taarka, she also performs with ThaMuseMeant, The Expedition Quartet, The Japsers and Bonnie and The Clydes. Enion has performed and recorded with notable artist and conductors: Michael Tilson Thomas, Linda Ronstadt, Darrell Scott, John Cowan, members of the Grateful Dead, Elephant Revival, members of Phish, Yonder Mountain String Band, and many others.

Emma Back – Violin    

Emma-010Emma Back is a violinist, pianist, singer, songwriter, composer & improviser.
With a musical background in Classical, Jazz, Eastern European and Musical
Theater, Emma has been performing and touring since the age of 11. She
currently performs with various musicians and bands in the Boulder area
including The Patent Pending, Statue of Liberty, and her own project, The Emma
Back Trio. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Naropa University and
recently released her first 5 track album of original songs titled “C’est Nous.”
In her violin teaching, she focuses on technique and the natural coordination
of the body as access to playing any style of music including Classical, Jazz,
Gypsy, Celtic, Appalachian, Rock and Pop. She teaches what the student
wants to learn including elements of improvisation, ornamentation, theory and
composition. She has an incredible wealth of knowledge regarding many genres
and offers a variety of playing techniques including bowing and fingering styles
to empower students to play anything and everything! Weather you are 4 or 50,
a beginner, or an advanced student seeking a new style, Emma will assist you in
awakening your love of the Violin and discovering the freedom and joy of playing.
