Fall Session 2017

Hey! What About Music?

with Bonnie Sims

Hey! What About Music? involves singing, dancing, and drumming. A typical class starts with a few sing-a-longs then moves into some percussion (keeping a beat), dancing, fun with scarves, and more singing.

We do a mix of classic kid's songs, popular music, and American folk/bluegrass music.  This class is fun for both parents and kids.

The bulk of this class involves LIVE MUSIC played by the instructor and sung by the kids. We only use recorded music during the percussion and the "free dance" portions of class.

If you have any other questions regarding the class please, 303-444-7444 call or email us.

We can prorate the session if you'd like to join after the first session

FamilySong Music

with Kristin McLean

FamilySong Music Class is a multicultural music and movement class for families with young kids ages 6 weeks to 6 years.  We sing upbeat and inspiring songs in English and in different languages, play instruments and dance with silk scarves to live drumming and guitar. Kids grow their brains and bodies through active music making and families love the music in this 45-minute class.

Each session of FamilySong Music Class comes with a FamilySong Music CD and a download card of the same music so you can listen on all of your devices. Each of the songs in FamilySong Music has a ‘featured world music instrument:’ djembe, shakere, steel drum, agogo bell, harmonica, harmonium, guitar, and many more! (For drop-ins, CDs can be purchased separately)

Each week in class, teacher Kristin McLean brings a ‘featured world music instrument’ to class to play and share with the kids and families!  Kids love hearing, seeing and getting a turn to play the new instrument.

FamilySong Music Classes no longer offers drop-in classes. To attend FamilySong Music Classes, you must register for a session. New Families signing up for the email newsletter can receive one free class. Please email info@familysongmusic.com to schedule your free class. We offer pro-rating for sessions if you decide to join a session after we have already started.

Make-up policy: You may make up as many classes as you miss at any location within your current session.

If you have any other questions regarding the class please call 303-444-7444, or email us.
