Connor Weisburg - Beginner to Advanced
Connor Weisburg has been playing music since elementary school, when he started on trumpet in school bands. He was trained in classical and jazz trumpet until he began learning guitar in college to play with rock bands. After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder, his passion for music intensified and he’s been playing regular gigs around Colorado ever since, picking up bass and piano along the way.
These days, he is an artist-in-residence at Oakley Art House and focuses on building up the local music communities. He continues to play gigs in a variety of rock, jazz, funk and folk ensembles. Outside the live scene, you can find him writing songs, notating horn arrangements, producing recordings, and running sound for events at the Oakley Art House.
Connor is always inspired by the vibrant and diverse scene around Boulder and strives to learn and then to share as much as possible about both the technical and artistic sides of music.
